As the principal of our educational institution, Dr. K. Dharani Devi has been instrumental in shaping the direction and success of our college. With 22 years of experience in the field of education and a deep passion for student success, Dr. Devi has led the college to new heights of academic excellence and achievement. She is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity, creativity and innovation, not only in the classroom, but throughout the entire school community. Dr. Devi is known for being approachable, supportive and always looking for ways to improve the educational experience for students and faculty alike. Education drives away ignorance and through illumination it emboldens a person to a righteous thought and action. It empowers and enlarges the horizon of mind. It energizes a society and enables a person to earn his/her living with respect and praise.
I am greatly rejoiced and proudly place on record the fact that Harsha Institute of Management Studies, the visionary dream of its founder Chairman Mr. Shiva Kumar – a humble servant of education whose little mission a decade ago to transform a small college into a big one, has unfolded into an institution of glorious past and great future. In order to accomplish our vision and mission, we are prepared to take as much effort as possible for the betterment of academic scenario in India. We believe that education is an effective medium of social transformation. We get encouragement, looking at bright and successful careers of our thousands of students, which subsequently benefit the society. We feel proud that we are part of such an excellent institute, which is shaping modern India.
Harsha Institute of Management Studies endowed with progressive futuristic outlook aims continual growth in the quality of all academic activities with a sense of commitment to fully meet the expectations of the students, parents and society at large.
Education plays a key role in the overall development of the society. The role of education is definitely not limited to giving and grasping knowledge and theory. The true goal of education transcends much beyond just awarding degree and certificate to the students. As Mahatma Gandhi said, “By Education I mean an all-round drawing out of the best in child and man-body, mind and spirit”. The ultimate goal of education is the discovery of the meaning of life and the fulfilment of life and all mankind as well as for oneself. The quest of education is knowledge, humanity, culture, wisdom and sharpness but it should be noted that knowledge is not given but earned and character is not granted but cultivated.
HIMS College not only focuses on the theoretical curriculum, but also help in the development of a student personality, extra-curricular activities and over all perspective. Everything that makes a good institution are – a highly trained faculty, rich library, placement division, teaching methods, liberty to think and express themselves – we have it here. The objective of higher education in rural area is associated with employment as it ensures a positive attitude to see the universe from better angle and to analyse, determine and apply an individual’s idea in a constructive development of society.
I firmly believe that our HIMS College is more than just a place to learn. It gives you a chance to grow by equipping with everything you need to achieve excellence. We ensure students get the best start to their future career to become smart and responsible citizen of our glorious country, India.
